  My SO and I found Caswell Memorial on Google Maps as we were traveling through the Central Valley. This park is defiantly a hidden gem.
  
  There are no rangers in booth as you enter the park, so you put your money (cash only) in an envelope and drop it in the slot in the front of the booth.
  
  We ended up hiking the nature loop trail which is found right next to the bathrooms and picnic tables near the park entrance. The entire park is covered in oak trees and it was so beautiful. This is not a crowded park at all, so we were able to enjoy some peace and quiet and enjoyed the scenery. The Stanislaus river runs right through the park so we also got great views of the river.
  
  We spent probably around two hours in the park. During the entire time we were there, we did not see a single person which was awesome.
  
  Defiantly recommend checking out this park if you are in the area if you are looking for some peace and quiet.
